Thank you to everyone who supported me through this, even if you are unaware that you did! Your Posts have kept me inspired, and running.
My Running Buddy was still there, now on W6 and immensely supportive. We will keep up our three sessions a week until she graduates and then do 30 min runs together.
I cannot believe I am making these plans.
This is what I wrote to my daughters after Week 1:
“Three 60 sec “light jogs” and the perspiration was running down my face. I could barely breathe and I needed a long lie down...”

Fantastic! Well done you - I was exactly the same in week one - desperately trying to keep a mental tally of how many runs were left and then horrified that I’d miscounted and an extra run seemed to come from nowhere!
Brilliant!! Very well done & great plans for afterwards...those runs in ‘Weak1’ phew, they’re tough now look you?!! On to the next running chapter 😉🏃🏼♀️
