Tried the treadmill for Wk4R2

For various reasons- work, family, study, dark nights 😣 didn’t get out on the street and country road where I normally go. So tonight had the brainwave of using the treadmill at local gym.

I’m always a bit put off by multiple reflections of myself, but , wow! that worked really well. Much better at controlling pace, had the gym to myself and even managed a short swim and stream room (also to myself).

So I’ve found a very good alternative. I missed the usual fields and wind turbines scenery but managed to do session, listen to my music and watch a family baking show on mute.

This will be my second choice of location when I can’t get out in the morning for C25K session.

How do others find using the treadmill for this?

Great to have an alternative especially with winter around the corner l don’t fancy the gym as wouldn’t want to be in there with all the gym bunnies 😂😂

Having run round a school field and up and down lanes where i live i tried a treadmill and loved it...so i joined a gym and now have done last 6 of 7 weeks there! Yes bit dull...but great for pace and watching the km and time and calories burn away....i love it xx

Hiya I bought a treadmill to use at home as I’m constantly chasing my tail . I work 12 hours days and on days off I’m still limited to time as my 8 year old has special needs and only attends school until lunch so unless I had chance in the morning I was missing out . This way I can run once he’s home or run outside if I get chance . I love the Continuous speed of the treadmill but also love getting out and about . For me it’s about balancing life and exercise and so Far it works . Go with what works for u x
