Week 7 done but snail-like!

HI everyone, I managed to finish that W7R3 this morning but I felt, as for the other previous 2 runs, the second 12mns and a half were very long, even if I tried to run a little bit faster on the last minute. So, I'm wondering, should I run another 25 mns before getting to week 8? I still feel great about the whole programme (I've achieved my two objectives: 1) not to puff any longer on a short run and get terrible headaches after a long intense effort; 2) not to get my low back blocked, touching wood on that one - French phrase for luck) and am enjoying the run, which is more than I expected when I started!

Snail is good.

If you try and run a little faster it is still going to be 12 minutes. Why not try and run a little slower instead. A lot more sustainable.

Well, I think I run pretty slow already but yes, I'll keep it slow until the end. Thank you, GingerBohemian!

Slow and steady as you go... snails are amazing!!! I was the original Grey Snail!

Relax into the longer runs.. let your legs find their happy pace and just go gently! Just move on slowly!!

The thing is, I can't really say that the problem is in my legs as up to 15 mns, I feel great and I'm trying not to go too fast especially in the first half. But then in the second half, it feels like my breathing in is not good enough to keep up the pace. So I'm trying to follow your advice: slow is great! And I'll try to go for the first run in week 8 on Thursday as slows as possible ;-) Thank you!
