At the gym I managed to run for twenty five minutes although it was hard , today I did week 7 run 2 outdoors on a fairly flat level . It seems so much harder outdoors . Today I had to slow down to a brisk walk but only for a minute to catch my breath the ran again . I feel frustrated that I can't run for 25 minutes if it's outdoors . Does it get easier

If you caught you breathe and ran again, you are probably running too fast. On a treadmill you dont have to think of maintaining a steady pace as it does it for you. So take it steady, choose flat routes for a while and stick with the programme. You can do this!

Yes think I need to slow it down it's funny that it seems to be a common post people finding it difficult to pace themselves . I live in a hilly part of the country so it's challenging to find flat places but I have one good route . Thanks

Of course it gets easier. You have actually run for only a handful of minutes to date........you are a very new runner.
