Completed week 7 run 1 yesterday, it was harder than I expected - I think I was feeling over confident from doing the same run at the end of week 6.
One thing I have noticed - my runs are harder if I do them in the morning on an empty stomach. Particularly if I have had a light dinner (e.g. soup or salad) the night before. I'm guessing it's because I don't have enough carbs/energy in my system.
Should I have a snack before my run? What should it be? How long before?
Thanks for any advice

I usually have about a pint of water and half a banana before my runs. Seems to work for me so far. Keep going with Week 7. I’m sure you’ll do it. I’m starting that this week. 😀
Two biscuits and a glass of water works for me if I am going straight out first thing. I do a small bowl of cereal if I am doing Park run and eating about an hour before I run. Think that would be too much for me immediately before running. I know some people can run on a totally empty stomach but not me.
Thanks everyone! I tend to do my run immediately after I wake up, so I need something light. I'll try the half banana and see how I go - it doesn't sound too heavy
