I did it!! And yes it hurt, was probably slower than r1 but did all the runs and tried to push it on the last run. Feeling just a little bit pleased with myself, even if my legs want a divorce!
And so you should feel pleased! Well done.
I remember still hurting from the last run on my next run in the early weeks – gah! Just make sure you stretch well after. For me, this abated in around week 6. Recovery time does speed up the more running you do. Also, you can take two rest days when you need it – sometimes it even makes for a better run!
I am sure that you and your legs will come to an amicable agreement soon.
