Well done! Keep at it! I'm 62 and had good success doing the programme a few years ago, C25K does work, there's no denying it's tough, but you will benefit from your effort's. You may or may not lose any weight, that'll only come more with controlled diet and running constantly for 30 mins 3 times a week. As I went through c25k I felt a few minor aches n pains and tired after the runs which is about normal, make sure you do have your rest days from running and stretch afterwards. In the latter stages of c25k found muscle tone improving and felt better..😊

It will work to get you running but it wont necessary help the weight come off. You need to also follow a healthy eating programme for that to happen.

I am similar age to you, did my first 10k event as my 60th birthday treat. Onwards and onwards πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Thank you all! Feel encouraged! Managed the 1st of week 2. Not as bad as I thought! Made easier by a beautiful Devon seaside morning. As Millsie-J says β€˜onward...’
