Easier, shorter run today, maybe 25 mins total of running, plus skipping, 2x3 mins of stretching and a 10 minute walk. The last kilometer split was almost up to my sea level time too! Felt confident and good. Huge amounts of deer π¦ like 20 or so. Two fighting dogs came right up to me, but it turned out they were playful thank goodness. Only one skunk patch. Two school kids waiting for the school bus and a lone dog walker. Nobody walks in this town despite it being very small...
Got my groove back!: Easier, shorter run today... - Couch to 5K
Got my groove back!
Yay! Go girl!!! It amazes me how you can stop and do stretching, squats, skipping and whatever else half way through. The most I can do is keep putting one foot in front of the other, even if I'm just walking! Sounds like you're back in the zone. ππππ
What a super run.. well done you! A whole exercise run too.. skips and stretches and walking.. wonderful!
Yes, I really like this 5k training programme for the way the other exercises are integrated. It gives you a kind of template for the integration of strength and cardio fitness. I think I'm going to try doing "exercise pauses" and "stretch pauses" in my normal runs after I get back. Just a good idea!
Well done ejvcruns ..nice run right there!!! ππΌββοΈ
Nice one mate, that's quite a work out.
Good on you!!!πππ never a dull moment there by the sounds of it!
Yes, I do a mixture of walking, jogging and exercises (using exercises from NHS stretch&flex podcasts and others) a couple of times a week. The programme you are doing sounds good.
