I've realised today that I could actually manage to swim on a Tuesday morning between my Monday and Wednesday C25K runs. I could only do it once a week but would welcome any tips and advice on how to approach these swims, ie. a training plan that would be suitable.
I'm so inspired by the C25K weekly running plans, I'd love a similar approach to a weekly 20 or 30 minute swim, but really don't know how to go about it. I'm clueless really!

Hiya I swim frequently both on run and rest days as I love it. Start by swimming lengths and gradually increase the amount of lengths u do . As it's non weight bearing it's great and an all round body toner . Just go at ur own pace Ull be surprised how quick u build stamina x
I am looking at swimming in between runs as well, when I asked one of the Personal trainers at my club about it, she said it is a great exercise for a recovery day as the water helps take the weight of aching joints, but did caution against doing breast stroke, as it will potentially put strain on the leg muscles you are looking to rest.
Only other style I know / can do is front crawl, itβs not my favourite but going to give it a go anyways.
