So after 8 long weeks on the IC I finally was able to get out and run this morning. It was a lot colder but it felt great! I will take a couple of rest days now to make sure all is ok. Thanks to everyone for helping me focus on the fact that it's important to rest when injured. I kept trying to run and it was not helping! Thanks especially to Oldfloss x

Well done must have been tough.

Thanks. It wasn't easy. I was quite impatient really and kept moving - went walking instead of running. It was so good to be out there again and it was much colder than 8 weeks ago.

That's great news! A long stint on the IC makes you realize how much you need even the bad runs. Hope everything is as it should be after a few trial runs.

Thanks. Yes it was very boring and I was really keen to get back to it. Yes, I hope so too
