Fellow Couch25K peoples which app are you using as I only have a choice of 4 voices - I’ve got Sarah Millican- some of you are talking about other “voices”?
App: Fellow Couch25K peoples which app are you... - Couch to 5K
App
Hi Pam_E , I'm not that daft when it comes to tech but I don't seem to be able to find the voices at all ! I've hear lots of people have been inspired and it's helped ?!?? It alludes me ? is it on the NHS c25k?
I don't use an app. I downloaded podcasts from NHS website on to my phone, they are mp3's and you play them just like any other music. These ones are "Laura"....and music is already included in between her words of encouragement.
I started off with the app and Sarah Millican but couldn't be faffed sorting my own music out.
I don’t wish to sound stupid but How do I find it ? Do I need to get the details from the hospital’s intranet?😩
nhs.uk/Livewell/c25k/Pages/...
Also direct from itunes or other podcast apps, i think googleplay. Just in the apps search for nhs couchto5k
On the iPhone the App Store shows it as “One You Couch to 5K” by Public Health England.
Thanks Richard. Very helpful.
You're welcome. Are you just starting out?
Just yesterday I completed w2r3. Bit worried about week 3 but I might just do w2r3 again tmrw for fun & a confidence boost.
It's a journey. Everyone says it but it works - keep you speed nice and slow. Don't go off too fast. It's about building up distance not speed. Someone convinced me at the end of week 1 to move on not redo. I would suggest that if you completed the run move onto the next week you will get a buzz from each achievement - I found each run 1 of weeks up to about 5 or 6 were hard followed by the other 2 being ok. Either way enjoy the runs.
Mine just says sponsored by the BBC!!
Search couch to 5k on apps. It’s light blue with white writing apart from the 5k which is in yellow. There are 4 voices to chose from we sometimes call Michael Johnson Mr Smooth! The app allows you to play your downloaded music and the voice will “talk over “ the music when it needs to tell you something. Good luck
Here you go. The voice is lovely Laura, a graduate herself!
Found it now !! Thanks a million
Laura voices over the NHS couch to five k podcasts. The Sarah, Michael and Jo Wiley are on the C25k app
Laura is lovely. Listen out for her tips 🙂
NHS podcast Laura is a goddess 😇
