I've just completed W6R1 again after not being able to finish W6 last week. Although it was a physical reason (my back locked up half way through the second 10 minute run), I still found it quite hard going mentally today. I wondered if you guys have had similar experiences and how you've got yourself back into the positive mindset needed!

Running is all about mindset. Just running without Thinking about it is a good discipline. Just do it ✔️ being a popular saying 😃
It saves a lot of mental tennis. No conflicting emotions, should I or shouldn't I.
Running the sessions slowly is best as it buys time to pack everything into what is a very small window. Don't worry, enjoy it 🙂👍✔️🏃♀️
Hi misswobble, thanks so much for your reply! I have to say, I wasn't feeling confident when I started but I kept thinking about what you said and it got me through, I was pretty pleased with myself by the end of it, and that makes all the difference to the next run I think!
On to run 3 tomorrow, I'm feeling far better going into this one!
Good! You only need to go very slow. I think the warm up and cool down walks can be brisk though 🙂 Slow and steady is the name of the game. Saves your breath to get you through to the end of the session
Having a happy face to start with always get you off on the right foot 😃🏃♀️✔️
