Hi Everyone, I'm new to this forum and to running, i've always thought i can't do it. Well i've done the first one and i feel good, and although my face went beetroot red, its ok now Is there anyone else on week 1?
It's been great reading some of the success stories, hoping that will be me one day.
Happy running everyone !

I have just finished week 2 today and can't believe how quick time has gone. I already feel fitter and caught the running bug! You will too!! Good luck!
I can definitely relate to the beetroot face! But I am now just about to start week 6 and I honesty can't believe that this morning I ran for 20 mins non stop! I have been on a high all day, it is very addictive and the program is amazing! Good luck on your journey to becoming a runner! Xx
hi Boaty I've just completed my first run today too was very rosy cheeked but made it through my son helped me get there great motivation and didn't over do it. so pleased I've started. Have read some great stories so some good tips and inspiration good luck to you
I always have a colour redder than beetroot 😂 now on week 7 and need about two hours to get back to normal so have to run in evening when I'm not going out! I was a 56 year old newbie and am still learning with ever run. The support on here keeps me going
Welcome, Boaty! Congratulations too on completing your run. C25K is an exciting journey, that's for sure. I am just about to start week 8, and have enjoyed every bit of it! It is a challenge sometimes, but the joy of this beautifully thought out programme is that it builds you up gently so that you are ready for each new run.
Stick with it, and you will be amazed at how you progress and how quickly your fitness levels increase!
This forum is an amazing place for support and tips, too. My fave advice has to be take it slowly...this is not a speed competition but a programme to safely build up stamina and fitness.
