Well, my plan to run with just my music had to be put into action sooner than expected thanks to the sudden demise of my phone. That'll teach me for getting ahead of myself and daring to think of running beyond W9!
I worked out how many tracks I needed to last me 28 mins, downloaded them on to my MP3 player - which was much more portable than my useless phone - and set out yesterday morning. And how wonderfully liberating it was - I didn't miss the time checks at all but just thought about the route and dodging tree roots. I even hacked up most of the long homeward-bound hill in the last five minutes and got further than I could ever have imagined. Really out of puff by the end and took a good few minutes to recover but really glad I challenged myself - that's what this c25k does every step of the way, doesn't it?
Good luck to everyone with the challenges you are setting themselves at whatever point you are on and beyond this programme 🙂

My music keeps me going, so I understand why you were trepidatious ( still not sure that's a word) it sounds though as this gave you a clear run without any techy stresses. Brilliant only 5 runs to go...
Thank you, Oldfloss, I've definitely adopted your 'slow and steady' mantra and now believe that it will see me through to the end of the programme and beyond - quite amazing what a snail can do!
