Recommendations please for a gait analysis

Hello! I just finished W6R3 and am of course totally addicted to running now (Laura just told me she's proud of me and I'm officially a runner...!) I wasn't sure I'd like it before starting so bought a cheap pair of running shoes in Decathlon. I live in Paris and gait analysis doesn't seem to be something that is offered here (unless I've just not found the right place). I'll be in London in a few weeks and would like to get one done and treat myself to a new pair (might just be graduating by then!) can anyone recommend a good shop? Many thanks!

Any good independent running shop will be able to do a gait analysis. The people who work in and own these shops are runners themselves. I'm sure an online search for any in the area you will be staying will give you names and addresses .

Where are you staying in London? I got mine done last week at a RunnersNeeds store just off Covent Garden. Tiny place but the guy Richard was SO helpful and not trying to push any particular brand. Really patient with all of my general running questions as well.

That sounds perfect, I'll try there. Am staying in Islington but can happily go anywhere as have the weekend free before work starts. Thank you!

I had mine done at RunnesNeed (in Manchester) but all their stores have gait analysis. Only a small range, but they said straight away not to buy if they didn’t have what I needed. Would have been happy for me to walk away with the knowledge and try things on elsewhere. They did find what I needed though, and have said if I have any troubles or concerns (after running in them outdoors too) to come back in. The service was great.

Sounds like this is the place I'm looking for as GingerBohemian suggested the same in London. I'll be heading there early Nov and am looking forward to it! Thanks for the advice.
