Week 6 run 3

Decided to change things a bit today and did this run by taking part in my first ever parkrun. Managed the 25 minutes and a little more (not much in fairness) and then walked/ran the rest. Really pleased to get to the end of 5k and now have a personal target to aim for. Roll on week 7!

Well done, that is a great achievement. You've done the right thing by taking it easier after the 25 min mark for now.

Thanks, I am going to continue with the plan until I can run the complete 5k. I've done the C25K before but not continued running afterwards, so decided that joining a parkrun will keep me going.
