So I completed W5R2 this evening. My left knee was well strapped up. Sore going but I did both 8 min stints without stopping. I'm now resting up the legs (particularly the left) in preparation for Saturdays 20 min Widow Maker #ifihavetocrawl 🏃

Lol...widow maker...makes me chuckle...but, nikonphotobro ...aching is ok...pain is not ok so you need to decide if it’s a pain coz otherwise the widow maker will have to wait...otherwise it’s the IC for you...& you’ll be cross of that happens 😬

Mummycav109, sound advice. Yep, I'm. Trying to run through this knee niggle. I'll give it a day or two and decide if I need to ease off a bit...

See... I'm kinda working to a parkrun date of 4th Nov (Graduation day), and so I'm trying not to fall behind...

We'll see... ☺ 🏃 x

Well done..but do remember never to run through pain.

If you are strapping just for support, okay... if it is to stop pain, and it hurts or is sore when running, then no.

We never ignore pain, it is the way to the IC and possibly more serious damage. You Park run in November could disappear if you do not take care of yourself! Don't forget, Park run can be walked as as well as run :)

Run 3 is just another run, I , like a few of us, am not sure where it got the awful fears associated with it Each run, if you follow the programme slowly and steadily, prepares you for the next...you just start slow and keep it slow..relax and enjoy.

This is a journey.. an enjoyable one, and not an endurance test :)
