I started at 56, & the best advise I have been given is to take it slow and steady. By following this advise I have managed to get to week 7 and now running in 25 minute blocks. Good luck you can do this.

Did you walk and run at first ? And how far ?

Just follow the programme instructions, don't worry about distance, just the time. As Steve says - just take it slow and steady, and relax as this will help your breathing.

Follow the programme and dont rush. Warm up and cool down walks are important so dont try to short cut them. Good luck.

There is a feature on the HealthUnlocked website that allows you to see who is near you, if the user has it set, but I'm sure you will be fine on your own.

Trust the program, you will hear many people tell you the same, the program works, just stick with it, have your rest days and don't try to do too much.

I'm on W5R2 tomorrow, and remember my W1 runs ... enjoy them ... 🙄

Keep coming back here, this is a great support team ... 👍

Well done.

You won't regret this decision, but your life may change in ways that you can't begin to imagine.

I believe that you are better off doing C25K on your own...........no compromise of running pace or time of day to run and nobody to let you down by not turning up.

This is your journey..............but share it with us, we're nosey like that.

Good luck.

Just begin. Take your rest days, listen to your body and make sure you do not push yourself!

The mantra on here.. and I am always saying it... slow and steady..it will get you to wherever you want to be..injury free and having had fun.

Keep posting for great support and advice too :)

Be prepared though... this is addictive and you will not be unfit for much longer:) Great eh ?
