Week 4 ..... in ..... the ..... bag ..... πŸ€—

Uncharacteristicly, I had been looking forward to tonight's run. Even a bad day at work and the ritual fight against the sports bra didn't phase me at all πŸ™„

It was getting dark pretty quickly but I chose a run in the park - maybe not the wisest choice because I soon couldn't see where my feet were landing.

But I did it..!! Week 4 done, who'd have thought it..?? Certainly not me. It felt fantastic..!!

My running buddy who, I'd like to point out (whilst gloating), is 19 years younger than me has struggled a bit with week 4. She's not quite managing the 5 minute stints. I have slowed to elderly sloth pace, which has kept me going, whereas she tends to overtake me at speed and then conks out 25 yards ahead.

She doesn't feel quite ready for week 5 so I think I'll do W5R1 on Thursday (in a well lit area πŸ™ˆ) while she repeats W4R3 at the gym. Hopefully Saturday she will feel ready for W5R1 and I'll repeat that run alongside her.

We ventured into this together and we shall continue together ..... unless she completely conks out, then I shall continue to sloth it alone 😊

Come on week 5, I'm ready for you...!!! 😝

Well done you, sounds like you are doing an amazing job of it! :) And all the while running is sinking its claw into you, making you fall in love with it! Hmmm that analogy doesn't quite work but hey! Good luck for next week you will do great (no piggy backs allowed now though) :)

Haha, thank you 😊 I really have enjoyed week 4 so, yes, I think I am falling (just a tiny bit) in love 😱

No piggy backs in week 5..?? Hmmmm, I may have to reassess πŸ˜‚

Yes, get in there, good for you, week 4 in the bag, feels good eh?

Just be careful of running in the dark, it can be dangerous in many different ways ...

And just be careful struggling to get into that sports bra, don't get into something you can't get out of ... πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Good luck on W5R1, I'll be waiting for your post ... πŸ˜‰πŸ˜Š

Thanks lovely, it feels amazing..!!

Thank you, I will. There's usually 2 of us + 1 dog. As I'll be solo on Thursday I think I might run at work (on a golf course) before it gets dark.

OMG, fighting OUT of the damn thing (with the addition of post run 'fluid') is a workout in itself..!! Sometimes I just sink to the floor and cry πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Looking forward to it, I'll keep you posted πŸ˜‰

When do you enter W5 (or have you already)..?? πŸ€—

Snails always win.

Slow and steady wins the day.

Week 5 for me was the week when I really felt like I was β€˜doing it’.

You’re going to love it.

That's what I'm hoping @GingerBohemian πŸ€—

I'm really looking forward to cracking on with week 5 tomorrow (might be a different story when tomorrow gets here) πŸ˜‚

Well done, sounds like you're doing great..!!

Very well done you: Slow and steady does it as you move on... and take care in the darkness:)

Thank you @Oldfloss. I'll be careful 😊

Elderly sloth pace sounds about right. That's how you'll build up stamina. Maybe you need to get your running buddy in here so that Oldfloss can give her some wise words about "Slow and Steady".

P.s. You can get zip up sports bras, which don't require a fight to get into. πŸ˜‰

It's definitely my stamina that needs working on (along with sooo many other things) πŸ˜‚

I'm trying to get her on here for some Oldfloss influence. One day, maybe 😊

I think I might have to investigate the zip up bra options, there's a limit to how many times your boobs can be dislocated 😫

My husband used to help me out of mine..until I felt he was enjoying it far too much :)

πŸ˜‚ Oh yes, I know that feeling..!! I'm going to need his input though, until I can find a more suitable undergarment πŸ˜‚

Ritual fight against the sports bra, JaySeeSkinny coined the phrase de-sausaging, for the removal.

jancanrun.com/2017/09/10/an...

so maybe it was a sausage fight you had? But nonetheless despite a bout with a bra, you went out and you killed it well slothed it.

Well done you...

Haha, de-sausaging πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I love it..!! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Then, yes, it was definitely a sausage fight I had.

Thank you Jancanrun, I'll see if I can sloth it even slower tomorrow πŸ€—
