In my head it seemed a jump from the 3x5 minute runs of w5r1 to the two 8 minute runs. But I actually found it quite easy. Almost forgot I was running - perhaps in my head I wasn't thinking "how much further" because it seemed like it was pointless asking as it was too far ahead to even bother... somehow that 20 minute run coming up next seems less daunting. Having said that today was actually my slowest run ever but I guess that was jo telling me to take it steady....

Brilliant! And yep, do take it slow and steady, no point risking a non finish, or worse, an injury. I did r3 (20 mins) today - and didn't get hung up on the time at all. Like you, I thought it felt pointless as 20 mins seems so long! Just kept a good pace and breathed steady- and that felt good. Well done you! 😀👏🏃‍♀️

I did it yesterday, and I agree - 8 mins seemed so ridiculously long that there seemed no point in checking the time. And then it was over...!
