I got out of bed with no problems this morning and with more than a spring in my step. Nothing gets a woman ready faster than when she wants to run.
Usual water and half a banana as I couldn't stomach to eat any more and down to my local playing field.
After all my fretting yesterday I couldn't wait to start this run.
Men playing football as per usual... I couldn't care less. Off comes my tracksuit jacket and on with the sexy Michael Johnson in my ears. Had the song eye of the tiger on repeat too.
Off I went and I'm suprised how well the run went. It's the 1st time I've actually marked the smiley face after the run had finished.
Ok the 2nd 3 minute I had to talk to myself to keep going as my legs started to get a little heavy but you know what..... I enjoyed it. I cannot praise this programme enough and I cannot thank you all enough for to your words of encouragement and advice yesterday. They didn't fall on deaf ears.
So I have a great big smile on my face now. I'm off to do my usual 5 mile walk now. Maybe more if I feel like it. But before I do.... A great big Thank You again. Viritual hugs from a very happy lady right now.xxx

Brilliantly done fellow runner - I was out there too, having had my date invitation from Mr Smooth... Did you know he two-times? But we allow him to, because he's Mr Smooth... Great pic, lovely smile, you did brilliantly well
