On the right track, I think!

Hi again, thanks to those who replied to my last post about my high heart rate. I felt really encouraged after taking in the comments and insights and felt much better! I entered a race last Sunday and took it easy, enjoying every second of it. My heart rate was on the high side, but after a visit to the doctors was told that it was fine to have an elevated heart rate during a race and the stats I showed him didn't ring any alarms, as long I keep to a more steady rate during training he saw no problems.....Phew!!

So here I go doing what I enjoy.........:)

Reassurance from your GP was just what you needed.

Keep running, keep smiling.

Yes, you're right I needed his reassurance. I think I can relax now :)
