Lol well I did most of it but had to flipping stop about a minute before end of 2nd run. Unfortunately legs just ran out of juice and I was not impressed 😣 so anyway rather than use the F word lol I just said oh dear until I got over it! 😂

No run is a wasted run! Frustrating though - when you're so close to the end!

I know i was so mad with myself, I didn't even finish my warm down walk then got annoyed about that afterwards as well 😄

I've been there on a number of occasions. There was one thing that always got me going again - telling myself that if I didn't keep running then I'd have to repeat this run again and you don't want to have to do that! Seriously though, try not to get too annoyed with yourself. Forum members who were around when I was attempting W9 (for which I had two "practice" runs) will tell you how frustrated and angry I got with myself and how counter productive it was. I stopped enjoying my running because I was beating myself up so much. I wanted to graduate only because I was stubborn - I didn't actually enjoy my last few weeks of the programme one bit, I was miserable. It took a few weeks post graduation before I started to enjoy running again and Parkruns have a lot to do with that!

Ha ha...have I scared everybody about using the F word???!!!! You did MOST of it so move onto the next one...you'll finish it next time...more stamina & Kms under your running belt x

Lol well if I had used that word I imagine I'd have given up and I'm too stubborn for that 😉 I just can't decide now whether to repeat the run or just go for broke n do R3 what do u think? All the best for your Graduation Run hunni n don't you even think about leaving me to it after that! Please... hahaa 😃

I would move on...stopping a minute before the end..? You can do it I'm sure??!! Just don't set off fast, very very slow to start & if you feel ok increase of not stay where you are....if you don't manage, bank the stamina & Kms & repeat run 2...but I don't think you'll need to do that will you???? Come on, it's in there somewhere!!!

I won't leave you no chance x

Really glad it's not worse, with the wet weather I was dodging slippery rotting windfall apples, I was worried a bit when I saw this and the earlier slippery slope post (sorry forgot whose)! So honestly just a bit of a practice there, some more stamina built, sounds fine to me :) keep running, we're impressed by every run and getting over these little blips is impressive too!

Didn't plan my route so well either, forgot about the little cobbled hill down by tbe canal lol not the best running surface grrr!

ahh planning is my nemesis! Cobbles - style over function. Pffft. Keep running, you'll know which run to try or re-try in your gut. Good luck!

Ah, forget about the last minute of non running, move swiftly onto the next run. I ran for the first time last night, since holiday and my graduation 2 weeks ago and my feet were literally dragging and scuffing the floor on occasions. Keep going, just think of if keeping going, that's what you need to focus on 😊
