Hello - I'm only on Week 3 so I certainly don't think I've warranted enough exercise for shin splints but my left shin bone is hurting on and off and going a bit hot. Irritating more then hugely painful but odd. Any advice?

Warm up well....and hard though it may be, try to land lightly and gently Kissing the ground with your feet I call it
Are your shoes okay.. sometimes that can cause a problem... but we do also. expect aches and pains too on these early runs
Stretches after the runs too.. are essential and if you stretch before the run, make sure they are dynamic stretches
