It was easier than I thought it would be, was a bit apprehensive if I'm being honest, wasn't looking forward to the 2nd 3 minute run, but I got through it, turned the wick down a bit, to 9.5k/hr, was still a little bit "legs of rubber", but I managed to finish, shower and walk to the car with barely a twinge ... recovery is getting quicker ...
One more to do, and then I'll be on week four... but in Spain!!!! So will be running outside, could think of worse places ...

Well done..!! My rubber legs are still feeling it a bit today after W3R2 last night. Another rest day tomorrow, then putting week 3 to bed on Thursday (she says confidently) 😳😂
I'm running Thursday, too, then that's it for a couple of days, got an Iron Butt motorcycle rally in East Anglia, then I'm off to Spain for a week, will be doing week 4 on the promenade ... 😎
.....I'll be repeating it (or some of it, at least).
Don't know what happened today.
It could be that I tried dynamic stretching for the first time before this run - I was bloody exhausted before I got out the door..!! 😰
It could be that this was my first morning run - I'm not designed for even talking in the morning, let alone pulling on my big girl pants and running..!! 😏
I feel shattered and am really aching (a LOT more than normal), and I didn't have that post run 'buzz' today - more like a post run 'meh' 🙄
So, week 3, here I come again.
I'd much rather be able to cope with a bit of gentle plodding and gain the ability to 'enjoy' it instead of pushing myself and turn it into a horrible chore.
Well done to everyone who mastered week 3 this week..!! 🤗
.......
Anyway... how did yours go..?? Better than mine I hope..!!
It easy, it's not an easy week, but then none of them are, should be on W4 next week, but will have to see what the weather is like, I'm off to Spain for the week, from Sunday ... might be re-running W3 myself so as not to kill myself ...
I'm definitely going to repeat at least one wk 3 run and then assess. I'd rather take it cautiously than do myself some damage. Have a great time in Spain and good luck with running in that heat..!! 😎☀️
Well done....some runs are easier than others....& you found your easier one today....keep up with the happiness I can feel from this post & you'll fly through the rest of the runs....& keep posting
