Come rain or.... more rain

Didn't feel too great today and my lower back was complaining. The thought of W3R2 tonight was NOT a happy one 🙄 Got home from work and it started to rain, and I mean RAIN..!! Forecast until the early hours. Good excuse for the extra rest day methought (that was due for tomorrow). However my C25K partner's dog was aleady getting his running paws on, ready to go, go, go 🙈 I couldn't back out now 😔 In disgust I pulled on my running gear, complete with hat and waterproof jacket, and off we went. It was bloody foul..... I dragged my sorry (soggy) back side through the mud and puddles and..... I'm so glad I did..!! This running malarkey is NOT coming easy to me at all, my legs are sore again tonight, but I'm feeling pretty smug that I didn't take the soft option of sofa and cake (and another cake) for my evening's entertainment 😊 Looking forward to getting week 3 in the bag on Thursday 🤗

It was a glorious evening for a run this evening but, hey, a rest day it had to be... and at least my shoes have dried..!!

Haven't touched any cake Oldfloss, but I did sneak 4 squares of Dairy Milk this afternoon (well, I have to keep my strength up somehow) 😉
