Tried new route tonight as old route is in a park so a bit too dark now nights are closing in. It was good but miscalculated and ended up running up hill. But it was fine - and guess good for building stamina.
Passed another runner and we smiled and nodded at each other - is there runner etiquette which I should update myself on???
Feeling much more comfortable running now - can't believe the progress in a few weeks - not that it's ever easy - but definitely more manageable. Think it helps planning in when going to do the runs too - next ones Wednesday and Friday.

We're at the same point - just finished W4R2. Running in the dark at 5am so just circuits round the houses as the paths are too lonely at that time. I'm also shocked that I'm managing this - It's not easy but if you told me a month ago I'd be able to run for 15 minutes I'd have laugh at you. Really enjoying it too
I know I'm stunned that I can't wait to go out for a run even when it's raining. I've never felt like that before about exercise. This week feels like I'm now getting better at running from previous weeks.
Keep me posted on how you're getting on - it's good to share with someone at the same stage.
Well done for keeping going and working out how to keep running with the dark nights drawing in.
I don't know the runners etiquette - mine would be runner in distance just a nod, runner overtaking or seeing face to face as you pass each other = a hi/Ciao or whatever, but I am in Italy and they're a lot more friendly generally.
