Tried treadmill for one run. Didn't like it. Back outside again. May use gym treadmill the times I get home after 8pm or when it gets really cold since sometimes I think I really I am not warm blooded.

Glad I found this post, having a night where I have lots going off in my head, happens a lot, sometimes I have trouble switching off.

I'm normally a treadmill runner BUT I think I'm going outside for W6R3 on Saturday, I'm not up to Park Run just yet but I'm looking at running along the local canal as it's got a pretty solid path at the side of it.

I've checked the audio file and Laura does indeed tell you when you've done 12.5 minutes of running so I think I'll drive down, park the car and follow the water until Laura say's I'm halfway through and then I'll turn around and head back to the car, should work out about right even if I slow down a little.

I'm also going to use a GPS type app, Run the Map or something like that so I can track distance to see how I do, I'm off to check the weather for Saturday morning.

Keep it steady you'll want to run off, and let us know how you get on.

There are lots of threads on the forum regarding outdoor or treadmill.

I think the general consensus was just run! If you need a treadmill for reasons we all are not necessarily privvy to, then the treadmill is absolutely the right thing for you! If however you prefer outdooors ( as I do), then outdoor running is the right thing for you. Many on the forum do a bit of both, and that's alright too! Just enjoy running🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻⭐️

Totally agree bad weather or a rest day walk, get on the treadmill, what ever you need to get off the couch. Just do it!
