I thought I had my head in the right place but only managed 10.5 minutes of my 20 minute scheduled run. Feeling disappointed but still determined. I can't work out why I stopped!
On holiday in Canada now until beginning of October so will try and do some while I'm away to maintain what I've achieved and then seriously hit it when I get back. Not beaten......

I assume that there was no physical reason why you stopped? It really is now a mental battle that you CAN do it. Next time out try to relax and not think about the time. I know a lot of us play games in our heads (I imagined writing my post after my run so looked around me to remember everything about the run). Take your running gear with you and go for some fun tourism runs - no reason why you can't still progress through the weeks while you are there! Have fun.
