Just completed R2W9. Tough but helped by the refreshing rain. I must say how much my general fitness has very much improved over the last couple of months. For instance, on Saturday I went hill walking with a group of friends, over the South Shropshire Hills. 10 miles and 2500 feet of accents. In the past, such walks have left me lagging behind. This time, no problem, easily keeping up with those half my age (I'm 72 by the way). So, all you new C25K runners, keep going, it really does make a big difference.

Is that the podium I can see in the distance? You are doing a fabulous job and proving that your body age is not the same as your chronological age. 🏃♀️😁🏃

Thanks. Unlike previous attempts at running fitness, I've had no injuries, such as Plantar Fasciitis and dodgy knees. I've put that down to doing a 5 minute walk before and after a run.

Enjoy running across the Graduation finish line. It's a fantastic achievement. You can almost touch the checkered flag now.
