Park run: Am contemplating it for tomorrow... - Couch to 5K
Park run
Yes, go for it! You'll feel more at ease now you've got one under your belt and will be better at pacing yourself. Will it be the same one as last week..so you'll know the course? Stick to your scheduled run (W7R2...?) and you'll smash it!
Yes it's the same one...π±π±π±...will I be ok??!!
You'll be fine, you know what to expect and what you need to do
Yes of course you will! Just make sure you resist the urge to run with everyone else to start with! Do your 5 minute warm up and then just run your own run, and know that you're doing it for the pure joy of being able to!!!
Enjoy!!!!!πππββοΈ
Go for it girl. π
I'm heading out in the morning!
You're just fabulous rolysmate...parkrun???
Yes and it's my run for charity
β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ my heart swells for you...

Do it! You'll be great!
I have just graduated and can't wait to start my park runs, go for it!!!
You know you want to!! Go for it π
Definitely go for it! I've blown it for this week - extra rest day meant I did w9r1 this morning so tomorrow should be a rest. I'm looking forward to next week. Good luck!
Go for it my lovely friend, I'll be with you in spirit on mine and yours π You will know what to expect tomorrow too, heehee x
You do what you want to do, we all are behind you mate, just take it as a run not a race x
Go for it - you will be great and have learnt from last week how to pace it . Look forward to reading how it went π
Do it!
Go on do it.... we don't have them in Italy so I have to read posts to find out what they are like. Actually. We do have them, but 5 hours drive away... go for it..
I think there are about five in the whole country, two of which are in Palermo... how odd. I wonder if there is a major running community in Palermo? Nothing in Rome despite so many parks that would be perfect. Perhaps over time they will spread throughout the rest of Italy (though working Saturday means it is unlikely ever to be a possibility for me).
I know that there is a running club based in the Villa Pamphili in Rome, which is probably the park that is best loved by runners. Am thinking of plucking up the courage to get in touch...
Yes Rome Milan or Palermo, mmm convenient not. But it would be interesting to be part of a club and see how that worked out. I like running on my own though, so not sure about the whole club thing. Still never say never..
Go for it, just start slow with warm up walk, and then continue your thing oh, oh, and ENJOY
What a glutton for punishment you are, MC! Seriously though I think it is a brilliant idea to give it a second go straight away, now that you've got the impact of your first one out of the way.
So did you do it then? How did it go? Hope it was a good experience.
