I've just done my first run for week 3 and am worried about the jump from week 3 to 4 - it seems a bug change....help!

To channel Old Floss, remember the mantra "Slow and Steady". You have been preparing for this week in weeks 1 and 2, are continuing to do so now in week 3 and you will have the ability to do week 4 when it arrives. It is how the plan works and it feels miraculous. But it is you who are the miracle worker - you do the work and you make the progress. If you don't quite believe in yourself now, you will in a coule of weeks.

Go Paula.

Don't forget to let us know how you get on.

I did my second week 3 run yesterday, must admit I looked at week four and thought it was a big jump , but will try and if I have to I will repeat week 3

Trust the programme and in yourself. You can do it!

Don't worry about it. The programme is very cleverly designed to be manageable. You've succeeded so far and will succeed in the coming weeks.

Agree with all of the replies so far. Many of us have moved from week to week with great trepidation but with hindsight, the programme is SO clever moving us in incremental steps from the couch to the podium :)

Don't worry, be happy :)

You will be fine!! You are doing so well to have finished wk3. Just take it run at a time and you will be pleasantly surprised 😊

You will do it... no problem.. slow and steady, and enjoy.. this is a great journey...no need to rush:)

PS

If you see any huge BUGS though... run really, really fast !! :)

Sorry, couldn't resist :)

Just go for it, I bet you'll surprise yourself. Even if you do struggle, there is no pressure, just put on your running shoes and go for it again, you'll get there.

Good luck!

Having done W4R3 this morning, I can say that yes, it's daunting, but it is achievable! What amazed me is that the three minute runs - which seemed so long last week - just flew by and that makes you believe it's possible to finish the five mins. Plus, try to remember your reasons for doing this and that will motivate you if the going gets tough - that worked for me when my legs wanted me to stop. Good luck and keep us posted - everyone here is cheering you on.
