I did it!!! I was not feeling it yesterday and had a whole host of excuses for not running.....I wanted to but the little gremlin in the back of my mind kept popping up with regular negatives!
My son came home from work and asked what I'd been up to. I told him about the gremlins and he gave me the push that I needed. The chicken was in the oven, I was hanging around doing not a lot, go and run!!
The past few runs have been outdoors but I didn't really have time for that plus the shower afterwards and then back to making dinner, so I opted for the treadmill. Forgot about the heating being onπ !! I was beetroot but carried on, thanks to good old Jo spurring me on!! Even managed a sprint finish with sweat dripping off me!!! So, unbelievably I have completed my 9 weeks and have officially graduated!! I would never have thought it possible but it just goes to show if you have the determination you can do it!! Thinking for now I will keep on the 5K runs and maybe even try a Parkrun?
This has been such a good motivator and thanks to everyone on this forum for all your kind words and encouragement!!

Well done Lynnecanrun ! We always feel better when we beat the gremlins! Fabulous that you have graduated, congratulations! Maybe you need to change your name now?
Huge congratulations.... very well done Graduate!!!
Lots and lots of consolidation of the 30 minute runs now.. those legs need to carry on building.. as does our stamina and strength! Short runs, long runs runs to see where you end up and then maybe the C25K + podcasts
