Have been injured and have been back running only for a 5 weeks.

My park run time is now between 32 and 34 mins with a little walk in the middle.

This week I have done week 4 twice. I am doing park run again this Saturday. I am finding it hard to believe I did a half marathon in Feb.

You are not alone - I ran a Half Marathon in March and have had various setbacks since! I am now almost recovered following nerve damage to my leg and am back running 5ks and although they are slower than my old pace at the moment, it is lovely to be out there running again. Time really doesn't matter to me at the moment.🏃🏽‍♀️😀 I missed it so much when I couldn't run!🙁 Take your time and keep getting out there and I'm sure you will get back to where you were though. Good luck😀

Well done for your park run time and for getting back to running - so hard when you have a break due to injury. All the best 😊

Slow down a bit maybe...be kind to yourself... :)

It takes time to build up to your past form after injury.I am nowhere near my 10K s that I was covering before my calf tear... but I am getting there... slowly :)

Just relax... you know you can run and those runs will be all the more enjoyable if you let them develop and evolve :)

Love;y to have you back though :)
