Week 4 needs encouragement : I have just started... - Couch to 5K
Week 4 needs encouragement

Well let's keep going, you're not doing this alone you're sharing this adventure with all of us every step of the way.
You're doing fantastic so far so all you've got to do is get out there for the next run and then most importantly come back here and tell us how you've gone on.
You CAN and you WILL do this!
Hey I've just started week 4 too so in theory we a virtual running together, keep going we can smash this week, your doing great 😀

You can do it!!! Trust the programme, we are all with you!! 😊

Hey , I was in a similar position, my co runner aggravated a previous broken ankle and had to stop at wk 3 . I continued alone and managed to do it! The advantage of going solo is you can run where and when you feel like it, the disadvantage is it's easier to procrastinate and not go out if you are not meeting someone else! The good thing is this forum is here if you need support or even a virtual push now and again, and you might find another willing runner on your journey to 5 k!
You've got this. We are all behind you! One day at a time. One step at a time 💪👊

Personally I believe that you are better off doing C25k by yourself. Running with someone else is always a compromise on pace.......one or the other is either going slower or faster than their natural pace. if you want to maximise your potential, go it alone.
Sure, you have to provide all the motivation to get out of the house, but you will not be disappointed if your oppo is unavailable. Make your running routine work for you. Be disciplined and enjoy the you time.
Keep posting here and we will keep you honest.
Thank you you are so right

Hey, I'm on week 4 too so I'll be a virtual running partner for you. Keep us all updated with your run progress 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏼

You can do it!!! Trust the programme, we are all with you!! 😊
So you posted here and one way or another we are with you. Whether helping you to find your happy pace like Oldfloss or Tricky2836 being your virtual run buddy, we are the quiet army encouraging you on. Your username says it all and a King of running you will be for sure.
That you ❤️

Keep going King383 youve made such progress, don't let it go to waste. You don't need someone else to motivate you. I've been doing the programme on my own so can you!
Think how good you'll feel to hen you complete the 9 weeks and graduate 👨🎓!
Maybe join a running club or running group near you, I went to one near me for a while that was set up to train for the Cancer Research 5K.
Or try Park Run 🏃? I'm waiting till I've graduated but you might find it helps you.
Happy Running, look forward to seeing your graduation post.
