Hey guys ...day 2 week 1...day 3 will be on the treadmill ..
I'm going away Friday to a cottage up north (Scotland) and I'm not sure what to do on the Sunday?
Do week2 or repeat 1... going to be running outside!! That's new to me....

I'd carry on with week 2 - running outside IS harder because it won't be completely flat but it's also much nicer being outside and even if you are a bit slower, those hills are going to do wonders for your level of fitness. Hope it goes well. I'm doing the opposite- I'm away in Brazil at the moment and on the treadmill in the gym instead of pounding the Derbyshire hills.
Why not go for a trial run outdoors. In my biased mind there is no comparison. Fresh air, sunshine, wind, rain, birdsong, ever changing views, hills and valleys.............I could go on......
it is great that you want to keep up the momentum.
Have a go outside, because then it's gives you a comparison for your treadmill progress and also you can then work out which you prefer. As Irish-John says a run is a run is a run. So nothing you do will be wasted, it is both stamina and kms in the bank. And hey it's Scotland, why not do a tourist run, we love seeing the pics on here, so we can decide to add another run venue to the wish list.
It's emotional blackmail on my part....
Happy running
run outside... Scotland will be beautiful. It is different and worth getting used to early on in the programme... I cannot actually run on a treadmill, so outdoors is my only option! I have to say i am quite glad really, you may find you prefer running outdoors
Yeay..outside.. slow and steady and really great fun!!! Carry on, but take it steady... it is very different from running inside..but amazing!
As IannodaTruffe says...it is amazing!
