Well I have just finished my final run and feel just great . 9 weeks ago the 1 minute runs were a challenge what a contrast today. I have tried many times over the past decade or so to get into running but have always got bad calf injuries early on .I know now that this was down to doing too much too soon . The way this program gently builds you up is an absolute Godsend. It's been quite a journey over the past few weeks and the program helped me through a bit of a crisis in my personal life , exercise is so therapeutic. I have run off about 1.5 stones although that has slowed now and I will have to address my poor diet 😐. After yesterday's thread by our mystery guest I actually ran 5.3 K today and it took 3 minutes over the 30 . Still I have qualified no matter what lol . Times don't matter though we can't all be at the same level , the 30 mins is the prize to aim for . I want to thank you all for your help and advice and I will be staying on the forum . Can I have my badge please?

Go you! Graduate.. very well done !!

You made it, to the podium and the corks are popping as we speak!

Take a look at the Michael Mosley healthy eating regimes...we use them, ( Mr OF and myself mixed in with our already healthy eating regime.. Mr OF is type 2 diabetic so we have a pretty good set of menus)! and there are some great recipes and not fussy or complicated..

Anyway.. you are on the way now.. mentally and physically fitter... and ready to carry on!

Bask in the glory and go get that badge!
