Can't believe I just finished the programme! Started completely unfit never having run a single mile since school, the aches and pains along the way seem worth it now! Right....what's next?! πŸ˜‚

Yessss well done youπŸ…

Yay! Go you. That's amazing. I bet you are chuffed with yourself. I hope you keep it up. πŸŽ‰πŸ…

Definitely sign up to the Parkrun. It's on every Saturday. The atmosphere and community is amazing. Everyone is welcome.

Fabulous news :)

Next consolidate your 30 minute runs for a little while, enjoy yourself and remember you are still a new runner :)

Then start to set some goals (longer? quicker?) look at the various post 5K podcasts and see what you fancy.

Most of all keep running 3 times a week and see where the journey takes you. 5 months ago, I couldn't run for toffee. Today I ran 10K :)

0 - 10k in 5 months is amazing! You must be so pleased.

Yay well done πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

What's next, the podium, a glow of joy for a few days, then you have to make the decision are you a speedy Gonzales type, going for distance, a combination runner. The choices are endless, but as a fellow newbie graduate I'd say take a look at @jannowruns (sorry my tagging no longer works for some runners, I don't know why)

She did a brilliant post just yesterday about getting in your foundations. I found it really helpful, because I was a little lost at the sheer number of choices available.

Congrats! You're awesome! You should get your 5k time down to a speed you're proud of then push up to 10k (that's what I'm doing anyway :))

The journey goes on.... lots of 30 minute consolidation... trying different routes and distances.. then maybe after a couple of weeks,..the C25K+ podcasts!

But all that comes after the graduation party... well done you!
