I thought the high of completing Run 1 was amazing but finishing Week 1 is even better! I've learned a few things this week:
1. I should believe in myself more.
2. I quite like running in the rain (fewer people around to stare at my beetroot face and it cools me down!) so I should never use a downpour as an excuse not to run.
3. Running is addictive. I never EVER thought I'd say that but I've found myself looking forward to the next run and I'm talking to everyone about running! The whole office has had the 'C25K is amazing talk'!
4. Running to music really helped me not to focus on my huffing and puffing but in future I need to make sure my music is properly set up as tonight I accidentally ended up doing the full 30 mins to one song on repeat which wasn't the best!
5. This forum is AMAZING! What an incredibly supportive and encouraging group of people. I've loved reading posts, picking up hints and being inspired by everyone's progress. Thanks everyone!

every now and then I get very nostalgic about the early weeks. For me, at least, there was never a time when I amazed myself more and the euphoria lasted until my next run.
Believing in yourself is so important at running - I know because I'm very bad at it. The forum peeps gave me a wonderful pep talk last weekend and, as a result, on Monday I had one of my best ever runs. It is all about self belief - your body will do pretty much what your mind tells it to. If you find yourself doubting yourself when you're on a run, hold your head up high and smile - it's very powerful.
@RebeccaSK (I can't tag you I don't know why (aarrgghh) is so right about the self belief, especially in the early days, when let's be honest most of us are in the WTF and Who Me Running? Mode.
I found running to be addictive but I like you, need my music - we all get techy gremlins from time to time, I did a little better than you I managed the same 3 songs on repeat. One of many Homeresque techydoh moments!
Any shade of red is to be welcomed, beetroot blush, is a particular runners favourite, so as you identified it, that makes you a proper fully paid up runner.
Keep running, learning and posting, it's always inspiring to see new runners evangelise.👍
