Hi I’ve just finished week 1 😨 I’ve never run before never felt it was my thing!
So I’m finding it hard to run for 60 seconds can’t imagine running for 30 minutes but I’ll just put my trust in this and take 1 run at a time 😰

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.
As you say, one run at a time will do the job.
Going too fast is the most common error.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5....
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
Enjoy your journey.
well done on starting couch 25k. When I started I could never have imagined I would get past that first attempt but I followed all the good advice, trusted the programme and most importantly kept it slow and steady and I found myself enjoying it, even looking forward to the next run. Now I can't imagine not running. Keep posting your runs, you'll get loads of support and encouragement here, you'll be amazed at what you'll achieve. 😊👏
That’s the hardest run out the way, well done you
At the beginning it is hard to imagine being able to run for 30 mins but the programme works if you follow it and when you can its brilliant🏃♀️👍

Stay positive, trust in the program and enjoy your running journey by keeping it slow and you’ll do it.

Don’t stop.
