Week 3 run 2 ...the competative beast has awoken!

So i completed my w3 r 2 today and after my disappointingly short w3r1 i decided to challenge myself a little more... i aimed faster and therefore ran further, suprised at what my body can now achieve. I enjoyed it. I wasn't as warm as past runs (or as red!) I had some tightness in my calves which i stretched following an extended warm down walk and will continue to stretch daily including on rest days to try and loosen them a little. I was pleased that having upped the pace a little, i could still manage the 3 minutes both times and even ran uphill! Next time i run, i will be on holiday so will have to find somewhere suitable (and not ridiculously hilly/tree filled/sandy!). Maybe along a pier at a beach would be good. Regardless, i am sure i will be just as red and competative!Anyway pleased at what i am able to achieve and really enjoying testing my running boundaries (not too much tho... still learning!)
