Have the first run of week 4 tomorrow which I'm feeling very nervous about as it's quite a bit more running than in the previous weeks! Any advice/motivation much appreciated...
Nervous about w4r1! : Have the first run of week... - Couch to 5K
Nervous about w4r1!
I did that today! It is very different I felt. My advice is dig deep. The second 5 min run I struggled. My legs were burning. But I slowed my pace a little and concentrated on my breathing. Think how great you will feel when you finish! You CAN do it!
Well done for completing three whole weeks!
Absolutely no need to worry about next week, you've got this far into the program and you'll be fine. Remember to keep it slow, slow, slow and trust in the program.
You can do it ... Good luck and happy running!
No need for nerves... you have come this far... just trust the programme and yourself.
Take it slow and steady and try to just relax into the runs... you are ready for this
And the week after is longer again and the week after that..............
If it didn't step up you would not progress. Trying it is the only way to know if you can do it. If you don't complete you have found your level, so repeat it until you can.
You can only fail by going back to the couch.
Start slow with a positive attitude and you will be fine.
Just surrender and follow the instructions. You can run slowly also - no need to sprint... just try and you will feel amazing when you achieve it. You can do it!!!!
we have pretty much all of us started this, fearing the next run and peeking at what next weeks runs are to be and terrorising ourselves with the thought of what's to come and of course our inability to actually do it.
Well guess what, the programme is designed for us to be able to do it.
Everything you've done so far is leading you on to the next challenge and with the ability to actually do it
Just believe in the programme and you'll be fine, take it nice and steady and you'll be fine
🙋 I'm on W4R2 today and can honestly say, I felt exactly the same and 3ven nervous about leaving to do my second right now. You've got this!
