Just completed my C25K first run. Sweating profusely!!

How often do you repeat the first week and is it ok to run again the day after . I have sort of limited mornings when I can do this.

Also low back pain, any tips?

Thanks!

Well done.

Each run is repeated three times. Always leave at least one rest day between runs. This is when the micro tears created by running, repair and strengthen.

C25K weeks don't have to coincide with calendar weeks.

Any core strength work is good for runners.

Hi, I'm on week 1 of C25K as well and also sweating and totally out of breath during and afterwards. I haven't had back pain but terrible shin splints which made the running bits extremely painful 😕 I'm hoping this eases with time.

They will. Your legs are getting used to doing things they ain't done since youth!! Make sure you take an extra rest day if your shins are buzzing. Also it's worth purchasing a foam roller. They're great for pressing out leg niggles.

Rest days are important so take them!!! As IonnodaTruffe says your legs will have to get used to this thing called running! Google lower back strengthening exercises too cos these will help.
