Starting to enjoy it!

So just completed run 1 of week 3 and to my absolute bewilderment, it was the easiest and most enjoyable yet.

After having a bit of a moan about how much the soles of feet were hurting on weeks 1 & 2, I got lots of great advice here - and having discovered I've got fallen arches (the wet test is amazing!!!), I've invested in a new pair of trainers that provide much more arch support.

What a difference! Whilst I don't quite feel yet that I'm running on clouds, my running is much more comfortable. Roll on the next run - never thought I'd say that!!

Thanks to all that gave advice, it's really made a difference...

Have you invested in arch supports for your normal day shoes?

Not yet, doesn't hurt that much when walking but definitely painful when doing high impact exercise.

Is this something you'd recommend?
