Reality Check

Sitting here watching the World Athletics Championships Women's 10K final on the telly , and the commentator (might be Steve Cram?) says "so, they're just getting started, going along at jogging pace there..." That's jogging pace? Clearly, Steve has never witnessed my 'jogging' pace. He'd probably think I was doing some static stretching 🤣

As totes amazeballs as C25K is, I am not sure it has ever been a springboard to World Championship level competition.

there is a saying in Crossfit: "Our warmup is your workout."

I'm going to be there next week, I'll have you know! (OK- sitting in the stands, spectating, but I'll be there 😝)

Yep, I'm about to run my first 5km road race this weekend. Hoping for around 30 minutes ( but I'd settle for surviving and not having to walk any!). Just seen them complete twice the distance in less than 25mins. Am I a runner or a jogger I wonder?

This girl (Ayana) who's lapping all the others is just amazing. She doesn't even look like it's an effort!

I know - but I actually get a bizarre kick out of the fact that they run 3-4 times as fast as I do. Not sure why!!!! I certainly appreciate all the effort that has gone in before race day for them.

Not what you're looking for?
