WK8R1 Done it!!!

Was a little worried about this one but up and out early in the crisp morning air and for the first time it actually felt comfortable. I'm not covering a great distance I have to admit but I'm doing it and at last feeling the stamina improving. 1 inch off waist and hips too, I'm chuffed to bits. To all those out there in the early stages, keep going. You'll be amazed what you can achieve

Thanks Jancanrun. I'm remembering why I liked running as a teenager. A long long time ago 😂

Discovering something you enjoy is a real game changer isn't it. Btw teenage years - who wants them back? I hated lacrosse ..... now running funnily seems to suit a 50+ person

Distance... poof... Speed...poof! Up and out in the early morn, breathing better, feeling fitter, leaner and keener... Totally wonderful!

Slowly as you go and really enjoy these longer runs... embrace the fact that there is no need for pressure... you are a runner :)
