Paying money for a gym I don't use and my running clothes have been in the draw for months. Need to get going again. I have an up band and I do walk between 10 and 12 thousands steps a day
Any tips on finding my mojo again?

Welcome to the right place! Download the C25K podcasts and off you go!! I started in Jan and have loved every moment, gone from a total non-runner couch procrastinator to a run loving much fitter and happier me!
Morning! I had finished the 9 weeks and was doing the extra speed and strength podcasts this time last year. I have had a foot injury and a poorly kidney since which put me out of action for a while. Been walking everyday since January but no successful runs yet. Just downloaded week one again in the hope that I will get back into it again. Good luck!
Download the podcasts, get your kit on and head out for W1 R1 with Laura. It's brilliant to have a structured programme to follow and especially this one with such an enticing goal at the end with a safe, doable process to follow.
Give it a go - nothing to lose! 😊
Download the podcasts and start with W1R1. You can do it in the gym if you like and the prospect of running outside is too scary. Check in here regularly - we are pretty friendly and encouraging, happy to cheer your successes and spur you on and comisserate if you do have the odd slump or bad day. The hardest bit is getting started.
You are in the right place. Another tip I discovered here - set yourself a target. It could be to do W1R1, 2 or 3, and then tell everyone here you are going to do it. You will get lots of encouragement and feel less likely to "wuss" out.
And on that vein I am going to do a long run tomorrow morning. I have sent a Whats App to three of my friends and just to make sure, I am saying it here.
Hi, Beccym.
If you can find a running/training partner, one you would not like to let down or, one who will not let you get away with dropping the course!
If you can't find a partner to actually run with; someone with a bike, dog or just one who will stroll around with you. The bike will keep up with you and walkers can be walked back to at the end of your run sections. Most dogs should be able to keep up with you.
If an actually partner, in the flesh, cannot be found, perhaps someone on this forum will track and partner you in spirit (I feel we all would)! Or, better someone starting at the same stage so that you can communicate with common goals. I would offer but, I won't be running again for a few more weeks yet!
Cheers,
Have got to week 8 before. But work life always seems to get in way of graduating.
