Who am I? I am a 43yr old mother of a 17yr old son who has decided to finally get her act together and get off the couch! I am just about to go out and do week 4 run 1. This is the first fitness programme I've ever stuck to and I'm determined to finish. I have signed up for a local 5k in October so that's my goal. Wish me luck.......

Good on you! Probably spent 17 years running around for your lad so deserve to do something for yourself 😜 I'm on week 5 and my target is 5k before I'm 47 on 28th august - hope we both succeed 👏🏻🏃🏻

Well we've got this far.... I am concentrating on how good it will feel to run 5k. That is keeping me going at the moment. You're a week ahead of me so I'll be following your successes. 😀

You can do this :)

Good luck and well done you on getting this far. As Oldfloss always says slow and steady gets you there. And that everything you need to finish is within you... it is and you will do it and in October we will all share in your joy at completing that 5k
