Week 2 Run 3 complete!

Well a week after W2R2 I finally managed R3!! My knees did hurt but post run the right knee is nowhere near the discomfort I had last Wednesday. As I was running though, both knees felt achy and it made me feel like I wasn't jogging correctly. Like I was barely getting my feet up off the floor. Anyone else have this? I'm hoping it's just temporary as I don't usually run like that but it felt something I couldn't control.

I treated myself to some new running shoes today. Should be here by weekend 💛

Hi MrsT.. did your physio say it would be ok to carry on with your running, you were given strengthening exercises and you have new shoes coming with proper support for you... and due to be seen again in two weeks

When you have pain you compensate by moving in a way that avoids discomfort, and may have niggled another part (referred pain I think its called)..

Don't run until you see your physio again, I think you have another appointment. When given the go ahead use the new shoes that suit your gait...

A little hiccup in your journey, but worth the wait...
