Parkrun: My first parkrun in weeks & it is... - Couch to 5K
Parkrun
Go you.. run round the raindrops:)x
I've never done a Parkrun I think I would be too slowwwwwww ππππππ
You might want to check the times on your local one. You can get all the results on the website. Mine has a few people who take almost an hour. Someone was on here yesterday talking about one where people take well over an hour. My brother says his local one has 2 women who power walk it every week, and also that the slow runners get loads of encouragement as they finish. So check out the times (and flatness) of your local run.
Couldn't do it this week so next week I will be doing my first Park run.
you can't be too slow and we all have to start somewhere. I thought I would be too slow too but how wrong I was. I love parkrun, everyone is so encouraging and supportive -go and give it a go, you'll be hooked
I've just been a tourist this morning before a wedding this afternoon, it was a bit soggy.
Parkrun done & dusted for this week. It was very wet, muddy & a tad slippery over the stony paths and I had to walk/run but I completed it. I even managed to run up both hills without stopping on lap 1, lap 2 was a different matter tho π I am looking forward to next week when hopefully it won't be so wet
